Here's a pic of my real 1:1 buggy, and a cool video Ifound on youtube...maybe you've seen it?This video and a few others on the Lunchbox, the Sand Scorcher and a few others are what got me into the hobby just a few short weeks ago. Iwatched these and had to have one!

OMG!Ithought Ihas seen some cool slow motion videos of classic Tamiya kits on You Tube before, but this guy's are absolutely incredible. Iagree with one of the comments Iread in one of them, Tamiya should pay him for those vids, they are the best promo videos Ihave ever seen done. The cinematography and editing and locations are unbelievable!

RE: tamiya sand rover 2011
It's too bad that Tamiya couldn't have re-released it with a more compatible chassis and the original Grasshopper paddle tires.
Being on the Holiday Buggy chassis and seeing the shock towers burst through the body and spike tires just ruins the look for me.
So I spent the $129 I was gonna drop on the Sand Rover on this instead: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=TAM58503 Horizon's price blew everyone else's away too. It's not a "classic" because it's on the M05 chassis, but the body is all kinds of 80s goodness and style.
