Kyosho Lancia Delta Integrale 16V
Last year i was searching online for bodies for my HPI Super Rallys when I found out that Kyosho made some rally cars with a 280mm wheelbase. Apparently this was in the early '90s....they made the Lancia Delta, Peugeot 405 and a Ford RS200 ! I also saw a Citroen Rally car from them as well!
I came across a guy selling a Kyosho Lancia body that was partially trimmed and the overspray film removed, so I snagged it up! Now, even though the wheelbase (280 mm) matches the Super Rally, the body itself is at least 1 inch wider than the Super Rally. So I figured I would mod some Nitro MT arms to fit and see how it works...I mentioned this to the guy and he said he had a chassis for the Kyosho as well as some parts....so I snagged those as well!
Well, when the package arrived, I saw that the chassis was partially assembled as well the diffs and bulkheads. The other parts were still in the original Kyosho parts bags! When I finally located some manuals, I found out that the chassis and drive train were partially assembled by the manufacturer for these kits! So it looks like i scored a new kit! Well almost...it didn't come with the GS engine, which was fine as I am no longer in nitro and the way the chassis is laid out, an electric conversion should be relatively painless! Also didn't get wheels or tires for it...but I got something stashed away that will bring out the beast! Lol!
Any who...sorry for the ramblings....let's get to the pics!
