1993 Team Associated RC10GT
I do not know if this is where I should post this so if not admin feel free to move to proper area..
I just purchased a Team Associate RC10GT from 1993 for 50.00 that runs and kinda fun they way it is..lol I will be adding pics soon. I am wanting to do some upgrades to this to make it mine but not sure if I should. Like on some real cars when you get vintage you want to try and keep to original parts but if at all possible with something this old I would like to get away from the pull start. Just looking for opinions and any ideals.

Welcome! So it has a pull starter, like my rampage! those are neet, but the one way bearing always fails and the string hangs out the car, also can drag down the rpm, so I just use the handheld electric starter on the bottom side of the frame where the flywheel sticks out just enough to engage the foam wheel on the starter, remove the pull starter and problem solved.
but not familiar with the rc 10 chassis so not sure if you can use a manual starter.
good luck.
take care and be safe!
ccccccccyyyyyyaaaaaa! humpmaster out!
