RE: Return of Lunchbox..
Just backordered it from my local Hobbytown...2 weeks tops and for a good price.
I know it has been done before but as a kid in the 80's I loved the A-Team and want to make a clone. I have to treat this Dodge right! I have seen the grave digger LB's, and heard of the Mystery Bus LB's...anyone know where I can find the A-Team LB in this thread? Search has failed me...
How am I going to make a durable wing for it for the rear and where can I find some turbine rims to fit! Are these standard size 2.2 rims? Sorry, help an LB poppa to be out!

Nice Military LB, I'm kinda thinkin about a camo scheme for mine. I just checked, and mine just shipped via Fedex, now I need to get a radio and I'm ready.

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
I have a few more questions as i am having trouble hunting some things down and may need some alternatives...
I understand you can get the oil shorty oil shocks from Tower/Tamiya but if they are anything like my old Monster Beetle shocks they leak leak leak and cost $20 a pr. Who makes replacements or what size should I be looking for? (90mm?) Will monster beetle/blackfoot shocks work? I read about the 'pede conversion with 2 sets of front shocks which sounds fine but I was wondering if there were any threaded options so I can ditch using spacers that pop off and get lost.
If I am chucking the stockers...can I use one for the third shock in the rear even without oil/dampening to help stiffen it up?
With a 23T super sport motor/stock esc...is there really a significant runtime difference between a 3300, 3800 or 4200 mah nimh battery? Are mah primarily important for runtime and if so how much punch would I gain as well as I increase the mah? Will the motor get too hot (with a heatsink as well) before my runtime would run out?
I have seen a Parma light kit out there although I like the idea of a scratch built, stand alone on the body with a switch head/tailight combo. Is there a kit out there to help me simplify things? What parts would I need from radio shack if I wanted to put the pieces together myself?
Thanks! I am sure I will think of something else soon that I forgot!

i don't use spacers on the pede shocks. the springs are pretty stiff as it is. i use a really light oil ni the shocks.
also, i used the stock shock for my 3rd shock. i used it to replace the springs that are "supposed" to hold the axle in place. however, they last only a run or two.

Thanks, while that is a VERY nice unit, I'll just get a 2PH for now and maybe get that after I go brushless. There are many improvements and hop-ups/mods that seem worth looking into, just waiting for extra cash. Looks like the LB delivery date is now the 9th, and the bearings will be here today.

Lunchboxer, you told me to keep you up to date on the front suspension mods. Well, I just got them installed today, full double wishbone suspension. The install went fairly smooth as long as you have a dremel handy. It wasn't just bolt on, as several mods had to made to make it work. But once it was on it was sweet. Bump steer is pretty much elinimated, and the front wheel camber stays perfectly straight during the whole travel. It handles like a dream (in the front). The back still could use some improvement. By far the best option for the LB in my opinion.
