sometimes when i run a brushless system in my lunchbox it stutters a bit.. as if the batery is dead flat.

is this because the motor is sencing it is slightly jammed because of the low gear ratio?

would sensorless cure this?

Sensorless will be less smooth if anything else, though.... I have never had problem w/ sensored system.. for sensorless, you need good batteries..

Are you running an AM Radio on your Box? This caused serious stutter on my brushless box (Novak like yours) when reaching a certain distance.

I am sure they are 1/2 price here in US... so maybe look at eBay or have me order it from Tower or something...

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGG67&P=Z

Less than 12GBP per set..

those look shorter than the stock ones..
(howcome there's 4 springs when the kit makes 2 shocks?)

yes its am.

but it will stutter when the car is a few inches or 50 yards away. also sometimes the steering feels a bit delayed when i used it brushless. could it interfear with the reciever? would that make it stutter. might try and move the reciever towards the front and have the antena coming up near the windscreen

They are slightly shorter... lower the front a little bit.. ha! Gives it some negative camber!

4 springs -> 2 soft, 2 hard....

There's your problem. Brushless systems seem to cause some interference with AM receivers. Try to run the antenna as far away from the motor/ESC as possible. I used to run the antenna inside the chassis, now it's simply straight up the antenna pipe and hanging down from the top. No problems since. But I'm changing to 2.4 GHZ anyways.
