U guys crack me up..

Make sure you get ballbearings..

WW-2 comes w/ the transmission per-assembled.. I'd open them up and put the ballbearings in, before I mount it to the chassis..

Then depends on how far you want to go, there's plenty of hop-ups to get..

You can get adjustable upper links so you can change camber angle.. (LOL, not like WW-2 is meant to handle or anything.. ) But just saying you could..

Oil shocks... again, you don't need it.. but looks nice.. ha ha!

Do some search, and you will find them..

How do you know? What's the point of xmas if you know what you are getting?

When I was a kid never knew what I was getting so it was always a surprise.

hey guys, i turned my wild willey into a crawler. It has a 55 turn integy lath motor, and a locked diff,I also did somthing to my wild willy that i have not seen or herd of anyone doing, i mounted my battery on both sides ot the chassie, which means i had to split the batt pack, 3 cells on each side and i also trimmed the chassie so i could get the batteries in the lowest possible position for lower center gravity. Also i went to the local hobbie shop and purchased some lead weights which i mounted under the hood as to balance out the weight distribution. End result ..... a truly great crawler and trail jeep. I now can crawl up steep hills with out the truck flipping back at all , i even impressed my self with this mod (not to be arrogant).see my gallery. I ordered my second wild willy on sunday. This project is being called ( project mamba) Yes you read it right in going to have this willy be brushless,i ordered the mamba maxx brushless system. This willy will be very customized , no locked diff, maybe a limited slip not sure yet, my custom battery mount, lead weight to balance it out top tamiya shock. And yes it will be a racer , it will also have dirt hawg bugy tires for even a more scale appearence,Hitech CRX radio 3 channel and a top secret gadget for the 3rd channel,im looking to shock some people. I will greatly tone down the mamba brushless system, on my crx radio transmeter i can actually control the throttle throw , slowing the mamba to a crawl if need be. This will be a very timely project because im going for near perfection on assembly, im even sealing my transmission with cilicone to keep out the dirt.[8D][>:][:-]

That pretty cool I guess, but making it a crawler ruins the whole reason why the WW2 was invented. It's a stunt car, not a crawler.

At least the second one will stay true to the WW2 legacy.

Sounds cool.. 008! Post some higher resolution pics here at this thread! I'd definitely like to take a look at your crawler (I think you should convert it to 4WD.. I have seen that done before..) and your future racer..

Keep us posted!!

Hey guys!! Hows it going? i just got off work. Thanks for the compliment. I actually decided to buy my second wild willy over buying the new f 350 highlift truck by tamiya. Why you might ask! well because the wild willy is the only 3 demensional rc vehicle out, makes driving it more fun when you can see the driver and his cargo. On this second willy im going all out. its going to be a fun project. Ill be posting some new pics of my current willy. Im telling you with the battery lowered in the chassie this thing out crawls my tamiya f 150 and my tamiya hummer.

I hear what you are saying about the wild willey being a stunt vehicle. But the cool part about my mod is that it will only wheely on command, its is nice to have total control over the wheely action. Also I put many hours into painting this vehicle , i dont beleive in bashing my vehicles , I drive all of them to scale, and i have 20 rc vehicles including 3 motorcycles, im not into speed that is why i have a 55 turn in willy, with a 55 turn and deans ultra plugs you will get over an hour drive time and the vehicle has ultra torque .Trailing and crawling is a blast .I have driven my willy for miles over the last few months and my paint job is still intact, no flacking at all , and yes i leave it dirty lol. you just can not beat having a 3D jeep .
