I am looking for a WW 2 body, and excuse me if this is innapriopriate, but I'd like to have him holding a beer in one hand and the other arm in the air. Then take it off a jump and take a snapshot of that. I think it would be so funny.
LOL that would be funny. with a look on his face like "OH S@#$"

Yeah, those shocks should work for it. I think I've even seen those gold ones on WW2 from Tamiya's site pictures.
I use ones for a RS4 Rally on mine:

HEY EVERYBODY!! Look at what RC4WD is going to start making! They say they're for a Wild Dagger, but of course anything with a WR-02 gearbox can use it. I like the slot they have at one side for motor mounting. No more adaptors needed to put pinions other than 18 or 20 into it.
Yes, it's a beautiful thing!
BTW here's the link:

The Checkpoint Money motor is such an awesome motor. It has more torque than the silvercan and top end. I can do wheelies 3 or more times as long with this motor. I will be trying the 20 tooth pinion soon when I find one, or ill just get the tamiya when I order from Tamiya this week.

It's made in the US (I'm pretty sure anyhow), so to me it's worth it. I'm considering getting one.
I wonder how well it works for heat dissipation. [sm=confused.gif]

I wouldn't pay $25k for a transmission for my Toyota even if it is made in US...

Keep us posted with it, I'd be interested to see how you like it for sure!!

That's going to be down the road a little ways, but I'll be sure to let you know when I do. Besides it not being availble yet, I've got a Tamiya Pajero kit to work on first.

The rears are easy -> any wheel that uses 12mm hex will do..

The front might be more difficult.. as it uses a 5mm shaft.. (riding on 5x11mm bearings) So you need to find a front wheel that would work with that..

EDIT: Wait, I see you posted it in another thread as well.. do you have the original WW or the WW-2?

I'd imagine almost anyting from a touring car wheel up to a 2.2" truck wheel would technically fit. I wouldn't go bigger than 2.2" because of clearance issue with the chassis.

Would anyone be interested in an adapted Dubro rubber wheel for their wheelie bar? I finally have the proper tools (Taig mini lathe) to modify the aluminum hubs. Shown is a 1 and 1/4" wheel, but I believe that a 1" is available too, which would require no changes to the stock bracket.

No, that one isn't. I'm pretty sure I can make one to fit ball bearings, though.

I think it would be cool to have one riding on a 5x11mm bearings or something.. that'd be sick!

Good job either way.. it looks great!! [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Thanks!
I'll have to see what the axel diameter is, and if the hub can be opened up big enough. I bought another wheel to work with today.

I took some measurements, and 5x11 bearings won't fit. 5x10 just might barley fit, but 5x8 definitely would.
