thanks acmracing...I purchased the car in hopes for a cheap runner I could have fun with in the driveway.I researched the car online and learned there are few collectors out there mainly targeting the off road models...would it be a sin to run it?I paid less than 20dollars.....just needs a new battery.any suggestions on what battery to use?

That is a real nice find for $20, I wouldn't run it myself just for fear that I couldnt get replacement parts.
