I've dug up my old Blackfoot and Hornet (~17 year old cars). Replaced their MSCs with ESCs, got a new motor, better battery. Now I've stripped out the vmware training Counter Gear on the Blackfoot. Saw on a online hobby store the gear bag with the right Tamiya part #, but was wondering if there was somplace to get metal (or just plain tougher) gears? testking vcp-410 I expect two things were at play in stripping the gears; 1) their age; 2) one of the tires has broken its glue bond and I was running it that way tibco (so I figure that rim got spinning pretty good in the tire and then caught - shred or something similar). Also, any suggestions on a good inexpensive Electric sun certification Monster truck to get? Really would like to get into 4WD, but... Wouldn't mind trying a Nitro, but $$ and I want to biuld it.
