me too, on the bearings from dinball (rc mart).

plus my wife is away with my camera, not that it would do me any good without the bearings.

i made progress!!!

i put 6 hours in on the build on sunday, and 1.5 last night. i took lots of pics.
i have a steering issue, i think somehow i have some incorrect lenghts on the rods.
i did drive it across the living room and it was very smooth, just can't steer it.
i still have to paint and finish the body and some other random bits but for the most part it's done.

i have to install some bi-fold doors tonight, after that i'll load the pics and hopefully sort out the steering issue. i have a hitec 645mg servo in there so i know i have more than enough power to turn the 4 wheels.

i just added a few more, it's pretty much done. i just need to snap a few pics with the wheels and tires on it and then finish the body.
i still don't know what color to paint it.

lol. i've already cracked the body. nothing a little glue won't fix.
i need to get a cool lexan shell for bashing. but i think at this point with the damage the body has already seen
i'm going to paint it flat brown or maybe tan & brown, like desert camo.

this truck is a ton of fun. battery pack after battery pack no issues. it climbs/crawls way better then i thought it would in stock form.

i have a pair of sport tuned motors that i'm going to install sooner or later, but right now it's a blast with just the silver cans.

all my other cars are going to get jealous, lol.

i thought i'd update this thread with pics of my clod's current status.

i installed a cpe terminator race chassis, cpe 2" wide ride kit, cpe inner axel stiffeners, cpe rear lock out and cpe bta steering kit.

this truck will soon be dual brushless! i'm going to enter it in next years rc monster truck challenge.

i guess this truck is no longer vintage, lol.
