Default My Old HPI

I was gifted this old car not knowing what it was. I posted it on this forum and asked what it was. After a few days i recieved an answer that said it was the HPI RS4-P from the mid-80's. I recieved it just like this except for the battery.

It is not HPI, no part of it looks remotely close to anything HPI would produce.

it might be a HPI but i don't know. if the word NEO rings any bells they were on some bars that restricted me from putting batterys in it.

I'll agree that doesn't look like any HPI car I have ever seen and I have a few dating all the way back to the RS4 Sport and original Pro

That's definitely a HPI RS4. I used to have a RS4 Rally that looked exactly like that. The Rally was based off the RS4 Sport chassis.

Some parts on it look similar to HPI ones, but I don't think that they ever used blue alum; they always seemed to go with purple.
