PLEASE HELP!!! WHAT IS THIS CAR?

Hi, a few years ago a buddy of mine was moving away and gave me this old RC car. I don't know anything about. I took it to my local hobby shop to see what it was and they never really answered my quesiton but told me it was worth something. I was wondering if someone could tell me what I have here and how much it is worth. Thanks

The battery trays look like old RC10 stuff. Don't know about the chassis. Old pan car of some sort. Somebody will reconize it. |
