Default JK Aerotech TA152 build

Thank you guys for all the tips on building. I am about to start the JKA TA152. This will be my first Foam Scale combat plane the other ones were all coro builds. The guys at my club are 99% Coro combat kits. So it will be interesting to see how they compare. I will also try to covert a Second TA152 to a FW190 Long Nose Dora. Pictures to follow.

Can see in the picture that i have the plugs for th Dora. The canopy should work the TA152, the gun blisters would need to be adjusted.

I scratch built my TA 152s. My wings were blue foam covered with glasscloth and epoxy. After I folded a 0.6 oz cloth wing I went to 1 oz and they were just fine. Fuz was blue foam with mostly brown paper and pva. I used some glasscloth reinforcement around the nose and wing mount.

Mine were all built down to the minimum weight of and used the MVVS 20 with the mini pipe. Fast is good in combat.

I was thinking of running fiberglass cloth on the leading edge, but just a little. For the spars I have 2.5mm x 5mm CF rods. I am at the shaping the wing tip stage. I hope to get that done today and maybe be some more pictures.

The JKA TA-152 is a nice flying airplane. Did you ever get it in the air? Any completed pics?
