Default Kits or plans

Our club is considering a combat event. Any kits or plans sources would be greatly appreciated. I have Jett 25 that is not being used. Thanks

Just found the web site. Looks like this part of the hobby is ALSO on the decline.

If you are looking at open I am thinking about producing a limited number of Talons and Wasp's. These are open B class, can be run with or without tuned mufflers. Go to the combat facebook page and look for Ron Horton to see the planes.

My local club still flies combat with small electric setups made from fan fold. I can't find the link to the planes but I believe it was an Iowa clubs design and a little digging should get you plans. The power systems are very basic and the planes fly pretty decent and take little time to assemble, and reassemble. The setback neccesary for anything bigger then B class combat is very limiting to IC combat, sometimes the setback for B is bad enough. But newbies can fly these fanfold combat planes and that makes for the more the merrier AND nothing like evading and hunting of combat makes folks get over the skitters of being a new pilot. Landing, shoot, gotta do that to put a new battery and streamer on. They'll fall right in line and the setback is the flight line.

Hopefully, after you get some folks hooked, they'll consider bigger ships but our guys usually just go to flying 3D instead.
