Default Stein Models 1/12 Scale Planes

I know this topic has been brought up before but the posts are 10 years old so I figured I would ask again.

Does anyone know where I can order Stein Models 1/12 scale planes. Such as this one: http://www.rmk-models.com/polikarpov_I-16.php

RMK Models claims to sell them but I placed an order few days ago and their hasn't been any movement on it, they haven't even asked for payment which leads me to believe the site is no longer active.

Anyone have any leads?

Thanks,

Try this:
See http://www.westonuk.co.uk/westonuk2_186.htm

They have a lot of options, located in the UK.

I was on their site yesterday and they listed many WW II style models, 1 being a 1/12 scale Corsair, nice looking "fiberglass" fuse and pre sheeted wings for $145.00 US plus shipping.

Sorry Champstarr I do not have foggiest idea about RMK-Models.

I have never ordered any combat plane. Since day one I have build all my combat planes by myself. Totally I think that I have built about 200 planes of 30 different types.

But anyway Stein models are sold By
http://www.havelaircraft.cz/Modely-WW-II-1-12

I do not know how reliable or fast they are to deliver, but they have been around some years. I noticed that they have little strange dialect there, but I think that you can e-mail them in English

Boy, that's a tough one F4. Currently to my knowledge there is little that is available now as for current production. But there are a few options that I am aware of.

One's that come to mine are. House of Balsa P-51 that is rated for a .049 but, a .15 can easily be fitted into it and fly's nice. Currently HOB is not producing kits, but, "they say" there going to start production soon, What does "soon" mean?, well in my experience with phone calls to them, they have been indicating "soon" for the last 2 to 3 years. There is always E-bay and R/C forums, swap meets avail though. Other options are the "Airkill Combat Planes" that is currently being made available by the original manufacture. httphttp://www.rccombat.com/sections/man...s=129&Users=34
The reason I say this, is that myself, I just completed a 1/12 th size Bearcat racer with a .15 that we fly in local club racing and I believe it is a nice product.
If your looking for say, a fiberglass fuselage and foam wing kind of kit, I am not aware of any current production. Pretty thin pickin's out there. Other than scratch building or building from plans, which there are a lot of options out there, say, Model Airplane News Plans, Model Aviation plans thru AMA, and the like.

Hey RACE 66. Thanks for getting back to me! Your right,Back in the 80s and 90s when I got into it, There were so many different kits out there. I like to fly real small kits sometimes, ones I dont care to much about, and then I get brave and do crazy things with,But, I really enjoy mid size kits with the smallest engine posibble. I like to fly most, but not all, just under stalling. By doing this I can really get personal with my models and I think it helps make you a better pilot, rather than just flying in circles. You know what I meen

There is an active European 12th scale scene, with a fair number of pilots involved. There is some small scale kit production and it would be worth while asking on some of their chat rooms and forums for leads. I have seen some of these kits out of Poland and Finland and they are very high quality epoxy glass fuselages with veneered foam wings.

Just FYI I did order a Bf109 for AirCombat out of Poland. The quality is good and I look forward to flying it. It took 54 days to get to me (I'm in Hawaii) by sea. The shipping cost was only $17.99. They only let you pay by bank wire. Normally that would be a red flag but I decided to take the chance based on the feedback here and all worked out ok.
