I just wanted everyone to know that my Club SAC, Surburban Aero Club is putting on a Open RC Combat Event June 6th. Our flying field is located about 40 miles South of Chicago IL. The event is listed in the July 2004 issue of Model Aviation on page 176.

Just about any type of plane can be used with an engine size up .75 and 8 pound weight being the only limits.

Prizes will be given out to 10th place.

Not everyone flies big planes. Most of them are .40 size. I will be flying my Fight Master 30 flying wing with a OS .28 engine. Hopefully there will be some other of my flying wings out there as well. Last year there were a couple of SPAD planes, but mostly your typical normal flying airplanes. We would love to see some of you OPEN combat flyers come out as well. If you think you can out run a OS .28 powered flying wing, come on out, since my plane is usually the fastest one out there.

Hope to see some new faces this year, I'm Tired of beating the same people over and over again. Sounds like a challenge to me!!
