New SSC bird for Lone stat Nats
Time again for the lone star nats...
Last year I used home made Avengers for Open B and SSC this year I got stock Avengers for B and thinking about building my own for SSC.
I got some EPP and have been tinkering with some ideas. flying wings seem so much faster then avengers but they scare me because of CG
I played with CAD and here is what I got so far...\
Let me know what you think....

CG on a flying wing is usually around 15% of MAC or a bit in front of that.
You will probably need some reflex, but how much depends on the airfoil and CG. The first launch of a new combat design is always interesting, and wings even more so.
The biggest disadvantages to a flying wing is the maintenance needed to keep them flying right, the sensitivity to setup. They generally don't take damage with out noticeable performance changes well, and on most of them, you wind up needing more complete setups, since you can't just swap out wings on a working fuse as you can on a conventional plane.
Flying wings can have a performance advantage IF your flying style matches the strengths of a wing, and if you can keep them running right.

I look forward too seeing your aircraft at LSN.....
And the man too talk too about your wing would be Lee the knife if you still have problems with your wing.
