New combat venue.. interested in CARNAGE?
What would you say if I told you I found a $0.37 air frame that is relatively efficient and we combat for blood..? Not blood, but actually try to take each other out of the sky.
We use fan fold dow foam, the air frame is electric, and 18" wide x 24" long. 2 cell 100maH or 3 cell 1350maH, and the rest is all you. Three control or two control surfaces, but NO ACTIVE RUDDER! You can use tractor prop, pusher prop, mid prop, edf, what have you. Let me know what you think?
Mine is along the lines of a mig 2000, profile, on 3c with an axi 2212/26 and a 9x6 prop. top is about 40mph (with that small an airframe, a hand full) and has 3" control surfaces which means it can literally tear the elevons clean off the craft! The greatest part is this: Minor wreckage is repairable with PACKING TAPE!
Check out hover and smile . com for more details and plans. There are also Official rules, but I don't think they are posted yet.
