THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT IS INTENDED AS GOOD NATURED TRASH TALK TO ENCOURAGE, SO PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT IN A NEGATIVE WAY. I am totaly throwing down here fellas, and if you have a molecule of combat spirit left in you I challenge you to try to knock me out of the saddle! (That's jousting for "HAVE AT YOU SIR"!) The relatively small group of active combat pilots in Florida have been keeping it alive for a number of years and we would all like to see more new pilots as well as the has-beens showing up to get a piece of the fun! RC activity is understandably down in many areas so if there is anything I personally can do to help anyone get in the combat game, please let me know. Happy to help.

That's good by me W. Maybe you and the Colonel can road trip with Don G., he's always looking for company to go out of town. I'll even put you up at the rancho grasshopper. Hope you have been feeling better!

OH BOY, OF THE 167 TIMES SOMEONE HAS VIEWED THIS TOPIC A GRAND TOTAL OF ONE PERSON (BESIDES ME) HAS A COMMENT. THAT'S IT FOR THE SOUTHEASTERN U.S.? TRULY PATHETIC. EITHER NONE OF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE REAL THING, COMPETING AT A REAL CONTEST, OR NO ONE WITH REAL INTEREST IS LOOKING. SORRY BUT I GOTTA CALL IT THE WAY I SEE IT: VERY, VERY LAME. IF YOU LIVE IN THE SOUTHEAST, FL. & GA. IN PARTICULAR, AND PRESUME TO CALL YOURSELF A COMBAT PILOT, THE OPPORTUNITY IS THERE FOR YOU TO GET REAL, STEP UP AND FLY IN ONE OF THESE EVENTS. Keep the spirit going Chris, just a few more years to retirement and I can be just like boiler, retired and driving a zillion miles for combat :D

Thanks for posting the Tangerine meet. I live fairly close to the field and will try to get out there to watch.

I've been having eye surgeries lately so flying combat is out for me but I'd love to watch the event.

Do you know if they are flying WW-II types or those all-out flying wings?

I like the scale looking models.

Great, I'll be wearing my NRA hat, carrying a Nikon D90.

I have to make sure we don't have a horse show right down the road from there in Claircona. My grand daughter is into English Jumping at the moment and we have a show once a month.
