Default 1/4 scale dragster question

I see and hear of people using the front wheels and tires from a go kart on the rear of a dragster. How do you go about mounting these to the chassis?

Hi, i have just started this hobby up. So I do not know much at all. I purchased a 1.10 pacesetter nitro car, So i am still learning to drive it. As I am hook already. I also purchased a Bo-Link 13 inch Funny Car. So I was wondering if anyone could advise me, on what engine to get! + box. Radio controller, servo's etc My goal is to reach a speed of 90-100 MPH As this is the record over here in Aus. and been there since 2008. This record was done with a funny car aswell Please help cheers Bolink Funnycar 69R

Hi

I made my own hubs from billet stock
wheels were fronts from a junior Kart.
Rubber is Bridgestone 4.5/10.0-5 DR-8.

axle is steam pipe (stainless)

If you get kart hubs, you'll need an axle that's about an inch or so dia. (can't remember kart axle size right now)

Traditional kart fronts have no stud holes in the rim.
Look for standard rears or junior kart front rims, and go from there

You can contact Bob Smith, he's out of Long Island NY, he is a master at custom 1/4 scale parts, he makes these kart hubs for us guys that drag race 1/4 scales on www.rcburnout.com , his member name on there is " The Man "

Here is some pictures of what they look like, they except a standard 1/2 inch axle with Key ways, which he can also hook you up with..
the tires pictured are 10 x 4.6 x 5 ( soft ) compound Vegas
