Hey, I found this forum after I was checking the web stats for my company, Grand Motorsports... I followed the link back to here.

Here's a pic of my latest personal drag car, a 27-cc quarter-scale gas powered funny car.

GMS has both nitro and electric drag cars, both are fun, but the new brushless/Lipo electric dragsters are just unreal, going over 100 mph in just 132 feet.

Actually, I'm running it this weekend for the first time... but we'll run 165 feet, a scale 1/8 mile, due to shutdown distance and the fact we're running with mostly 1:10 scale cars at 132 feet.

The rear wheels are Go-Kart rims, however, any 40-series T-Maxx rim is the right size, and that's what I'm working on now, getting a pair of those drilled out to fit the rear hubs...the fronts are FG Marder offroad buggy front rims, just narrowed on a lathe.

The tires are all foam, and those are available from Bishop Racing Products, dot com. The body is now available through Quarterscale Legends.

Actually, it seems that the guys at quarterscalelegends (dot-com) are talking about producing these type of cars. They're certainly simple enough to effectively produce.... see the "New Funny Car" post under "Member's Rides".

Nitrorage,

Will definately look into your invitation, have been to your sight a few times. Looked at your rules and they seem to be under construction. Your members have some very nice lookin cars and Would like to know what charger body they are using and will it fit a 11 inch wheel base. And where did they get the motor? As that will be the class I run. Thanks a million for the invite and look forward to becoming a more productive individual in drag racing r/c cars.

Here are a couple of pics of some sweet dragsters

The funny is a GMS electric.

And here is the killer of all time.

Photoshop work done by none other than MR Ogle This one is a Walbern nitro chassis.

And the top fueler.

This one is a Litespeed chassis Nova power. The strip is Litespeed raceway in San Antonio tx

Any of you in driving distance to Lampassas Tx should check out the FREE dragrace on June 30. Trophies for 1st 2nd and B-side winner. All for free. A couple of those 100mph flashlights will be there. I'll be making a video. Check it out. More pics in my gallery on this site.
