The rear axle is 1/2", but a hard-coated, precision ground aluminum shaft I got from McMaster-Carr: #5911K23. The halfshaft is 10mm, to fit all the FG gears and pulleys, which as you know, are all metric. (#1482K11).
I kept a record of most of the part numbers and sources for everything, anything you want to know... I probably wrote it down somewhere.

I'v been keeping an eye on this thread with you and Mike,,,You will have to check out My cars if you like Altereds...I have a company called Nitro Rage RC,,, I'll post a few pics here of 2 of the cars I make.. We are selling our Alky burning Blown Injected 48 Fiat We ran in Nostalgia Drag Racing..{{ Thats a Full Size Car}} I built that too.. Mike knows about my cars He even helped me get started with help on were to Buy Foam Rubber for my Tires and Other things... Oh and I will be running a 1/4 scale Funny car next year along with the cars I sell and Build... John. P.S. I might be building 1/4 scale cars too along with my 1/8th and 1/6th scale cars....

2pock.. The Red car that is posted here in this thread Is Closer to a Prostock car,,, A Funny car would have a Longer wheel base and the Body wouldnt be as wide... You can get 1/4 scale Funny car Bodys from www.quarterscalelegends.com,,,,, look in their store.. I think MROgle posted the link.... I Build 1/4 scale Funny cars, Maby I could help you also.......... Here is a winter project that I'm working on. Anybody have any feedback. Check out the motor it's a 4 bolt, PUM designed for RC cars, it's a full mod with adjustable timing and all kinds of neat porting inside. It should be fun.

You have been putting out some great projects with some Real Deal Ideas, I admire your differents in modifying chassis from nothing to something. One last thing do you sell those tires and rims in your photos.
