Default Easy motor question.

Well seeing as how i never get any answers to my questions ill keep this one simple for a tt-01 what would be the best all arround motor.

Default RE: Easy motor question.

if ur using it for drift u dont need more than 4600kv. actually, more than like 3200 is way too much, i have a leopard 9turn 4300kv and i rarely use full throttle unless im acting a fool in the middle of the road somewhere. otherwise its just slow and steady. and if ur a beginner having too much power makes it a bit more difficult to learn too.

I have a 17T brushed motor, when full speed my car hits 40, but when drifting the most I hit is 15. I think it is the perfect speed and I don't plan on upgrading to brushless.

Ive kept my stock motor its a 15 turn for a Sprint 2 and it will hit at least 45 and is a perfect motor for drifting I even have replaced it with the same motor 3 times but I'm thinking of switching to a double bearing Venom Racing 15 turn Fireball motor just to try it out

if you drifting for fun a tamiya black can motor is more than enough, if going against someone in a comp, try if can sensored motor, NOVAK 8.5 good, just my 2 cents.
