RE: Good pick for first car?

For a first car i wouldnt recommend an RTR ...
Best to get a Kit to build yourself, then if anything breaks you have some idea how to change the broken part.
Any Tamiya Kit is what I would recommend ... their build instructions are the best ... step by step and parts and spares are cheap and available in most model shops.

    Check out

    www.rcscrapyard.net/tamiya.htm

They have all the Tamiya models

Check the Chassis section ... if its a drift car you want look for the chassis type to end in D (ie TT-01D)

    Hope this helps.

His questions have already been answered to a certain extent:

    I recommended Tamiya as well.
