Default New Indoor Drift course

Hey guys CT Motorsports - R/C Tracks and Hobbies in South Florida will be opening a new location that will Include 3 courses. On the first floor will be a Drift/On-road course. Next to that will be a Crawler course. On the second florr we are building a large indoor Off-road course. The off road course will be carpet and we are still coming up with the design. On top of all this we will be expanding our retail space to almost double it size. We want to here from the community what it is they would like to see from something like this, what types of jumps on the off road course, what types of obstacles on the crawler track and designs for the drift course. Mostly I'm looking to see whta kind of things most people look for in a indoor drift course. The track is going to be about 1000 square feet. You can check out any progress they have made and all the photos on there facebook page.
Thanks and let me know if this isn't the right place to post.

For drifting on carpet you want layouts with "long sweeps"...nice long curves back to back (s curves) and stay away from long straights. I lay out tracks for and judge comps...I can hit you up with a couple of layouts.

Also most guys will bring the wrong tires for carpet like T-drifts, they will heat up and start gripping and it turns into a bash fest, drift goes out the window and it's full blown on road racing...if it's a dual purpose track..."tour and drift" forget it, if you spray down traction compound it ruins it for the drifters it gums up the tires. Carpet drift tracks need to be dedicated just for drifters...you may not get the amount of drifters to justify a dedicated track...but if you try to promote it and it grows on you, drifters tend to spend more on their rides than road racers...I know our group does.

Gaaah, I wish you guys were closer! It's like a 5 hour drive for me to get there
You're the only place that does drifting so far that I've heard. Well I can't wait to see the tracks at least. Maybe then I'll be tempted to take that drive O_O
