Default carpet or concrete?

hi all,

if i was making a drift track what is the most common/popular surface? carpet (low pile or mat/felt type) or concrete? or something else?i have drifted on felt type carpet and lied it just fine. there is a sort of close place that has concrete. the carpet seemed to be slightly higher speeds than that of the concrete, which seemed to me to be very slow.

suggestions? and reason for them?

thanks all
