you got most of it wrong.....

the fastest r/c car was electric.
and electrics can run allday also.....

True, granted, but the guy is just getting started. Plus batteries need recharging between runs, whereas with GP you just put more gas in to run longer.

'Out of the box' nitro is generally faster init? You make it sound as tho' there are no up sides of nitro man. Don't mean to stir up trouble or anything so don't flame me man.

nah nah man..... its coo but nitros are faster out of the box. well.. some cars dont come with esc or motor and its your choice which can make it faster then a nitro.

people usually buy more batts so one ones done switch and recharge. in the long run save you more money.

Nitros require much more maintainance and are much more expensive. In the long run, they're pricy beasts.

tough to control the torque on a nitro engine since it has to go through a clutch. with electric you have control throughout the range.

Ha ha, yeah maintenance is a pain! Any they're filthy beasts! And yeah, ya always gotta buy fuel too. That stuff is expensive if you run all day.

acctually i have a Brushless system on my TC3 and i get about 40 min run time with it. i charge on 2 amp instead of 4 amp. it runs for some time. ii just have to let my gear cool down before i run again.

Huh well a regular mtor with a regular 6-7 cell battery is not going to get 40 minute run times. TC3 nice car. Thats what I have and I love it.

i remember when i ran a 21t motor and i would charge my 3000mah bats for bout an hour and i would get bout 25-30 min run times. and the TC3 is definatly one in a million. i love it to death. im currently 2wd though i shredded my front outdrive with my brushless
. too much power.

i put a dual exhaust on my 4tec so it does come from the rear....and drifting with a nitro in my opinion is soooo much better.

i hate nitros!!!!! on carpet that is did you know that nitro fuel mixed with shock oil does NOT come out of your mums carpet...when you get eletric buy like 10 batt packs and charge em over that whole day so the next day u can run for agaes

A lot of the real drift cars actually have side exit exhaust as on a turbo car the best exhaust is to have none so they actually port the exhaust out the side of the car, I have a 200sx and I am thinking of fitting a side exit exhaust and screamer pipe to it, my car now is more of a track and drift car than normal road car now.

As for the RC side of it I am actually just getting into this and have just bought a car yesterday, I went for Nitro on the recomondations of some of the japs eetc I speak to who have been into this for years they all use nitro cars.

nitros have to be refuelled every 6 mins, whereas NiMh or even LiPo + brushless can last over 30 mins

The future is electric any way you look at it, nitro technology can't hold a candle to the rate of advances we've seen over the last 5 years in electric

There is truth in the saying that Sometimes the best way forward is back, I myself can't be bothered with all the charges and things you need for the electric stuff and pricy it can be too, I have planes aswell and the chargers and batteries are amongst the most expensive parts.

Look at it this way. Mostly everyone drifts electric. Drifting competitions are electric only. It also looks more realistic.
