Hi all im just after joining and think the site is very cool,im looking to buy a drift car new and im after something with a subaru shell,im very new to r/c car seen so any help would be most welcome

im looking for the top of the range drift car and some accesories to beef it up,ive about 2000 dollars to spend,ive had 2 older r/c cars which where nitro powered and rwd but to be honest didnt know much bout them.

so fire away lads

Although I am currently not in to drifting, but have thought about it--have you checked into any of the Yokomo drift packages? You could always pick up one of the kits (not the RTR version), drop a brushless motor and speed control, a receiver, and your off. The same thing could also be done with something like the Losi XXX-S, but the Yokomo has various bodies now and its own so-called drift tires and wheels. The Subaru shell shouldn't be too difficult to find since several companies have released Imprezas.

You could either get Yokomo or Tyco.
