new tt01 and what motor
Hey! I just ordered my tt01 from towerhobbies.com and it's suppose to arrive thurs. or Fri. I want to set it up for drifting only. I had a question about the motor i need to use. Do I use a lower number turn motor or a higher turn motor? Also, what is the difference between the motors in case i want to switch it back to on road racing. Also, is there any other upgrades that I would need. I already ordered the bearings for the car.

Hi,
Use the stock supplied motor. The more turns the better.
I just posted in a tread that a friend of mine has a TT-01 and it's awesome compared to mine and it's all stock. Just that he is using LiPos.
Just drop some PVC/ABS tubing on the rims and there you go.
Have fun, COX.

The only upgrade you need for sure is ball bearings. Then i would recommend the alum driveshaft. All i know is I got the tt-01d to my door overnight for 160 shipped.
