Default Fugadude's Skyline TT-01 vs. Nascada Build Thread

This little project is going to take some time. I have some long waits on stuff that's being shipped. So I'm just going to add to it as I progress. I'm working on a body and a design for the paint. Here is what I have so far it does need work the curves are not tuned. The hood needs the most work Both the TT-01 and the Nascada will have Skyline R34 GTR bodies. One will be a Tamiya and the other an HPI. The car will be masked with Bob Divley's liquid mask I will print out decals which I will use to guide myself as I cut through the liquid mask. The idea is to get a white graphic in the front which is lined with chrome. The rear will be a candy blue backed with indy silver.

Colors:

Pactra Sprint White
Pactra Candy Blue
Pactra Indy Silver
Alclad II Chrome

Wheels:
Speedway Pall Slidemaster 8.5 offset

Here's a first generation design:

Chrome Slidemasters 8.5 offset. I have a better version of the side graphic now. I just need to think of something for the hood. I have my liquid mask drying right now this is going to be a total ***** to cut.

My Yokomo r34 gtr light buckets came in today and they fit very nice. almost perfect for the front I was worried it wouldn't fit well on the HPI r34 gtr Skyline body, but they do I'll post pics they look really cool very fine chrome detail on the plastic nice quality.

bad photo ... will work on putting up a decent photo in the morning and adding decals. The camera just can't capture the amazing color of this vehicle.

It came out a lot better than I expected, but I think it suffers from a fundamental design flaw. It needed some hood work/graphics. The Alclad II chrome worked really well I was happy with it.

It's the HPI I will be doing the tamiya as soon as my TT01 arrives haha. I think I will paint it in reverse of the Himoto. White with a candy blue graphic backed with silver. hehe

What a shame it will be to have to drill holes in it. Nice work! Then again you always do great work….

Just a thought, the way the graphics flow to the rear and up, maybe you could do a silver or white spoiler? Not sure what color of wheels you are going with though.

I'm going to put some 8.5 mm offset slidemasters (speedway pal) maybe a blue with a graphic that gives he ends of the spoiler white caps? I'm totally stumped and I haven't slept in two days. I broke a number of personal rules doing this body. I painted at night, I did it when I was exhausted, and I began without a solid plan. I need some sleep now got an early morning meeting (ugg).
