Most say 20T-23T, but a couple guys run 19T. 16T would be too much.

I think 16 would be too much for it. I've heard of quite a few guys who are running 19t motors on them though. I guess you could try it and find out. Worst thing that'll happen is you'll need to buy another ESC which you have to do anyway. Otherwise stick with something around 20T.

u can run a 16t on it IF! u are running abs or pvc tyres as there is less stress on the esc. my bro uses a 17t on his and i no a guy that runs a 14t on his. that being said u might want to keep an eye on the temp just in case. test it out first do a bit of circle work and touch the esc if its getting way hot then i wouldnt rekomed continuing doing it.

a stock esc runs up to 23t but then overheats it in time and breaks it.

I run a 21d on my esc (tam standard) and i wouldnt go any lower than a 19 or you will smoke it dont even try a 16 if you wanna use it as a spare
as for a 14??? doubt that very much on this esc you would burn it completey out.
