What is this chassis? (pic)
Hello everyone. I am newbie here. I used to have a tamiya rc but I can't seem to remember what model is it. Maybe anyone out here can help me identify it. And also is it possible to convert this chassis into a drifter? I had this chassis 7 years ago as you can see the dust in the picture, I had also lost my radio and charger, I might need your help on that one too. Thanks a lot.

Hey Torsp Thanks. Do you know if this is 4 wheel drive, sorry if that sounds stupid but I lost my radio and charger. Is this worth converting to a drifter?

It is 4 wheel drive...it has a main drive shaft.
From what I have read on here people do use them for drifting and they are quite good. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

yeh defo a tl-01 and you can see the drive shaft on that piccy too so ditto on 4wd,there pretty decent for drifting too some say better than the tt-01 cos of where the battery is held in place unlike the tt-01 which is down one side of the car.
it will drift with some pvc wheels or elecy tape over the stock tyres, you can pick up a radio bundle pretty cheap nowadays which consists of radio and servos, reciever.
good luck with the drifting and post up some video when you get started [8D]

It will make a sweet drifter...
Look for a Futaba 2PL 2-channel controller and Choose a Nicd/Nimh Peak charger with a charge rate of around 4- 5 amp and all will be sweet..

Hey, thank you all for your replies. This website fired me up so off to the hobby shop again, get some abs pipes, new radio, servo, charger and batteries, that old one might be dead. I see some oil leaking off the shocks, you guys think I need to change them? I'll post picks when I got everything in place. Yes, I am definitely back.
