ORIGINAL: rcluke

just finished the build of my RX7, i will post some pics after i have painted the body at the weekend
i ordered the paint today, white for the body, and black for the bonnet,
i was going to get the paint from my LHS, and would have had it painted by now, but when i rang there, the guy had no white or black :-(

my 2nd RX7 is painted yellow, with some XXX-main decals, unfortunately I found out that it is not ideal to drift in the cold (39'F), the front lip is cracking everywhere after a few bump at the curb but I love the RX7 so much that I'm going to order the 3rd body set soon and use it as display/show only, I'll use the pink and yellow one as beater LOL

my mate got some ansmann drift tyres, they are solid rubber, and on a carpet track, and tarmac my tamiya D tyres are better, they have more grip down straights and slide better through corners.

Luke is this like the color scheme your planning?

think that red line looks nice and breaks the color up

These are very nice cars, I don't have any RX-7 bodies (yet)
You need to post a picture once you paint it, I have to see it once you are done!
