Default 19T Vs 21 T

Hi guys,

I'm considering buying a 21T motor for my TT-01. With all the instabilities I heard running 19T on stock ESC, I figured 21T might be a safer bet. Do I get more torque with 21T? How about speed-wise? I'm also planning to upgrade to full ball bearings and an ali shaft.

add an aluminum motor mount to that. also u may want to consider the tamiya 23t rz or tz motors.

depends on drifting style and track, 21~23T might be best compromise between torque and speed I guess

I had a Tamiya TZ motor, and it gave plenty of torque with nice RPM. Did like 20 on rubber.

how can be those motors in equivalent terms???...double vs. single wounded...I was thinking getting some 19Tx2 (double wounded) for my TT-01D, this shuld give a higer T-s than a 19Tx1...isn't it?...
I think 19Tx2 = 21Tx1...or even 23Tx1 [:-][:-][:-]

Pinion gear wise, what would be a good combo for max acceleration? The stock spur gear is 61T, should I simply keep the stock pinion or get a new one to suit the motor?

stick with the 19/61 combo for best pullaway bro [8D]

As for the amounts of winds on a motor you also have to consider the quality of the motor too ie i swopped a 21double vemon motor to a check piont money 19t and couldnt believe the difference in torque and power,it pays to buy the best motor you can afford

23/58 for drifting will lose too much torque even on rubber drift wheels its best to stick around standard gearing [8D]

Check out the checkpoint money with a tazer 15t esc.
I'm thinking about getting a brushless velineon setup so I wont have to worry about motor maintenance.
