batteries
i was looking at other posts and i saw one that said the batteries make or break the car. he is talking about the dura trax piranha 6 cell 1900mah. i was thinking of using that type of battery for my tt01d kit that i just bought since i already had them. i do not get what he means by break the car. hope to get a reply.

RE: batteries
Make Or Break = Weather you will enjoy the car or Not...
a 1900mah Battery is going to last around 7-8 minutes...
It is Recommended you buy a Battery that is rated at LEAST 3000mah in order to get a Decent run time out of your Car.
Drifting on a Smooth Surface with Home Made Polypipe tyres I can get at least 20 minutes Solid drifting from a 3000mah Intellect Battery..
It is also Recommended Getting a Delta Peak Charger that will peak your Batteries ensuring that they are properly Charged and looked after.
So A Charger that has an Amperage of 2 amps.. is going to take 1 Hour to charge Your 1900mah Battery..
Buying a Charger that has an Output of 3 - 5 amps will charge that same Battery in around 30 mins..
Make Sure that your Charger is nimh/nicd Safe..
Charging a Nicd Battery on a Nimh Charger is a Bad thing
Charging a Nimh Battery on a Nicd Charger is a Very Bad thing..
Make sure your Charger can do both..
If Your not sure what to Buy, Just post up links and we can assist you in deciding..

RE: batteries
well what he is saying is that decent 3000mah's will last longer than your batteries right now. Also if you need a peak charger, let me know because i have one id be willing to sell, its a duratrax intellipeak, the 54.95$ one.

RE: batteries
OK So your Charger is good...
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXERB5&P=7 3000mah
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLFW4&P=7 3600mah (Intellect often under rate their Batteries so Expect around 3800mah)
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKWU9&P=7 2 of these would be OK..
Your not competitively Drifting so there is no need to go too overboard but the packs above would do nicely..
