RE: Anyone have info on a Tb-02
I have a tb-02 and like it very much. It is a good drifter and out of the box, the tb02 is a lot more adjustable than the tt01 and comes fully ballraced except for the steering. Check with your LHS to see if they carry parts for tamiya cars. Tower would have most of the basic parts for the tb02 and of course the high-end stuff you will probably have to order from Asia.
Tamiya just came out with the tb02D which is the drift tuned chassis and comes with a set of hard tires for drifts. Also, the tb02 has a sealed drivetrain and is shaftdrive and works very well if you run the car in parking lots or local parks. I've brought my car in from a run and found little pebbles and twigs in side the chassis and happy that i didn't have a beltdrive for this daily runner.
I like what i've seen from the tt01(which is basically a tb02 with a heavier chassis and no adjustability) but am glad I picked up a tb02. The other difference between the tt01 and tb02 is price. that's one of the reasons you see tons of tt01s on forums set up as a drift car. they are very cheap inexpensive but again, have limited adjustablility.
