Yep, I have noticed that ESC fans really do not hold up well in bashers. That is the second one Ihave owned and damaged and like I said I do not go unusually crazy on my toys.

Have fun with the LB Hope you have some rhino liner on top of that body - lol

Yep, you could do the bed of your real truck and have some left over for the LB.

Drove the EZrun King again today and after an off balance landing again heard a strange whining noise.  Come to find out there was another half broken ESC fan blade.  It snapped off rather easily and now the fan is back to being quiet like it was originally.  I guess the second broken blade balanced the fan back out.

They have a lifetime warranty....

But, I am sure that you could break them! Given your track record

It's the 35amp model. I bought it used off a guy here on RCU. It was a stock King, but with the EZrun BL system. I don't know which spec the motor is... will look into that. It's not very fast but much quicker than stock. But it's easy on the stock drivetrain for being brushless.

sounds like you have the same idea as me. i was looking at getting the 35A and 3000KV combo for a WK if i decide to get one. should have just a tad more power than stock and no maintenance since its BL, but also not enough power to end up uprading like someone else... haha, that's you Krazy Chicken!

Yeah, just checked out the motor and it is the same one you are looking at (3000kv). You will have a slightly faster than stock King which will be good if you never really plan to upgrade your truck. If you do plan to upgrade, (like Krazy says," It's half the fun.") then you will probably want a faster vehicle. And once you upgrade and personalize your King or any RC car, you will enjoy it like no other.

How much do those EZrun 35amp ESC and motor combos go for? Where are you looking to buy your King at? I might be able to help you out.

Wow! That is pretty fair price for the EZrun system. Besides the fan (see my post above), it is a pretty solid setup.

Do you already have a radio and charger? Or, is this going to be your first hobby-grade RC?

My bad brother, didn't know.... you should hunt for an assembled Wheely King 4x4, not the full RTR.  They are cheaper and only have a motor in them.  You have a radio, battery, etc. and you could order the EZrun BL system and have a sweet little King.

You know when I got mine I got the full RTR cheaper than the rollers, and the assembled ones without the electronics & ESC were going for at the time.

Yep, and it holds up to 6 cellNimh battery very well. But,I am not landing sideways on full throttle, or reversing then instantly gassing it forward. With the EZrun motor it doesn't go so fast so when you wipeout you're not snapping parts.

Dang, you must have got a deal on that one. If you could find one that includes more in the box for cheaper thenI guess that is a no brainer

guy had low feedback seems he was new to selling.

Can sometimes get some damn good deals due to that
Other week I won a $300+ electric guitar with a $60 bag for $130 shipped from someone with 30 feedback
the neck of the guitar sells for $60-80 alone just to put the price into perspective

Hey. Finally got a Wheely King off eBay. Had a question about the center gears.

Are these any good?
