Default Awesome new Slash conversion kit from RC4WD

I've been waiting for something like this for a while, a really nice scale high quality trophy truck conversion for the Slash. Trailing arms, alloy solid rear end, the works.

Features Include:

* Realistic rear suspension
* Billet aluminum hardcore axle with differential
* Billet trailing arms
* High performance rear shock
* Machined suspension links
* 28 Tooth hardened pinion gear
* Steel hardened drive axle
* Steel punisher drive shaft
* Full ball bearings
* Billet suspension links with metal rod end
* Black steel button head hardware
* This kit require a complete Traxxas Slash 2WD
* Total parts: 90+
* Engineeered by RC4WD Team United Kingdom (UK)

looks nice, but doesn't look like it comes with a locker for the stock gear box. hope it does, so you dont have to use jb weld or something else of the likes.

can you even call that a slash anymore?
outside the shocks, bumpers, and tires most those parts can come from almost any of the 2wd traxxas vehicles

Why would you lock the diff?

Whoops, nevermind, you meant the stock transmission.

From the looks of it you might even be able to use a Stampede for the conversion. It does look nice. How much is it?

Oh sorry, forgot the link:

http://store.rc4wd.com/Hardcore-Slas...t-_p_1085.html

It's $350 and due out in a couple weeks. Pricey but so is everything else they make. Quality is good though, practically unbreakable.

that does look really nice! and that body is awesome....
Look forward to seeing some vids on this bad boy!

And I agree, looks like you only use front A arm, tranny, wheels, front shocks, bumpers, and body mounts. Hardly a slash anymore

Yeah, thinking about my next while I still have stuff for a different one coming in the mail [&:] Freaking disease we have.
actually seeing the way they used the traxxas rear end kind of revived one of my other projects I've worked on for 8 months or so that I was just going to completely scrap
Been having an issue with a center diff for it saw this ripped off my pedes rear end and it will almost bolt up perfectly(after I drill a holes in the diff it will), and the dogbones length is absolute perfect too
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS

Now I have 3 projects I'm working on, and going to be ordering a 4th in a month

You're welcome

When you think about it, for those who already have a Slash $350 for an almost entirely new vehicle with top quality parts isn't bad.

So if I ordered this alone I would only need a few parts from the Slash to get it going?

- Bumpers
- Front shocks
- A arms
- Tranny
-Wheels

Is that all? If so I am in it looks nice especially with the shell.

Geebus, some folks are made of money.... $349 is just a teeny weeny little bit more than I'd want to pay, perhaps $200, considering I have to reuse my own Slash parts, I can't see how they can justify that inflated price.... most of their complete roller 4x4 scale trucks cost less than $300. But oh well. Nice to see more scratch built options at least.

Meh, price is ok. You see the words 'Billet' and 'RC4WD' in the same sentance and it's probably going to cost 300 bucks whatever it is. Thing is, there are a lot of people that will pay that, and that axle is going to be sought after seen as how it's obviously Slash width... Which also means it's SC10 width... And Ultima SC width... Proper scale SC racing anyone?
