Default which slash 4x4

I am looking at buying a Slash 4x4, but dont know which one to get. The Slash 4x4, the ultimate, or the platinum, I am not new to R/C cars but its been a while for me and am wanting to get back into it. Any input would be great.

If you could, what makes one better than the other.

Also can you bind a JR or Futaba radio to the traxxas RX?

Thanks for you input

in that case it might be the Platinum that I will go with due to the fact that I can add my own gear. That being said, I have yet to see if anyone else Jr/futaba offer a sealed receiver I have not seen on.

the traxxas receiver isn't sealed ether, it has a box that is sealed that receiver fit inside, thus making it water proof

If I had it locally, I would've gotten the Platinum and put in my own radio. It's got all the "goodies" and you don't have to deal with the Traxxas transmitter. I ended up getting rid of mine and using my Airtronics.
