SC10, RPM all around, Lunsford turnbuckles all around (cept the right side front camber link which got broken somehow[&:]) and Lunsford hinge pins all around (cept the right rear which got bent somehow[&:]), soopar kewl Losi shocks, MM+Castle 4600 and currently defunct lights which need resoldered. And yes, it gets raced.

Oh, and don't forget the 13 pounds of shoe goo in the cracked body. Or numerous other things.

HONESTLY NOW, did a two year old paint that body?? LOL I wouldnt post a pic of that truck if that were mine. Geeze.

And you have an SC10 and you are ''wondering'' why something is BROKEN and BENT?? BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.

GEEZE!!

dude, whats your issue. nothing wrong with that paint job. if it aint your taste thats fine, but keep that to yourself. this aint the place to put down others!
Dude, it's the "Show Off" section. Not the "show your beat up junk" section. That was like taking a Yugo to a car show.

I don't know, but if I posted pics of a beat up body and listed all the stuff that was bent orbroken I'd expect some grief.
Otherwise, it's like having a fat girlfriend. As long as it's all good with you, there's nothing wrong with it.
Just don't enter her in a bikini contest and get upset because the crowdlaughs.
Like I said, don't show up at an exotic car show and enter your Yugo, and don't go to Sturgis with your moped - unless you are really thick-skinned.

some of us would rather you go to sleep and stop posting negitive comments.
this is a thread where people can post their truck pics. if you want to post neg comments about other peoples truck why not make a thread dedicated to just that.
thread title: post pics of your stuff so crunchNmunch can make fun of it.

and yes, rc discussion boards are not for posting opinions that might hurt someones feelings! says so right in the rules.

Well heres pics of my bodies before running em.

1st Jammin CRT .5. Currently the windshield has a hole punched through it from the battery hold down from a particularly bad flip. I replaced the old traxxas battery hold downs with a velcro strap recently.

2nd My Tamiya DF-02. One of the few bodies that haven't taken much damage. I put a dent in the other side that is hardly noticeable from a hit that cracked a chunk off its original chassis. Weird thing is for how many times its flipped its got no scratches [sm=spinnyeyes.gif] This is probably one of my more favorite electric powered RC's due to its quirkiness

3rd my Savage .21 that was converted to BL. Body currently is scratched to high hell, and has a rip in it from a flip by the rear body post which bend a body clip in half...

4th BL Jammin X1 CRT. Body is basically in the same shape seeing it doesn't flip much, has some minor scratches but nothing major. The wing on the other hand has been ground down some from its wheeling...

5th 1/16th revo. Scratched the body up well on its 1st run (I finished assembling it last Friday and been too busy to really run it)

6th is a pic of my MT1 that I had converted to electric. Currently it is without a chassis(or motor), but I am planning on getting another and redesigning it's layout somewhat.

That's it for electrics I have painted.

im not suggesting taking away peoples opinions. i am suggestion that if your opinion is always negitive that you dont need to share it.
this forum isnt a place to tell everyone if you think their rc is ugly or lame. that kinda of opinion attacks the person who owns the RC and just isnt called for.
and im not crying, just wondering why you are so insistant on bringing other people's threads down?

First off, I didn't say anything negative. I just stuck up for the guy who gave his opinion (it did look like a 2 year old painted the truck).
Otherwise - OK then, if you're not suggesting censoring people what you're suggesting is "minding my own business."
Why don't you, instead of feeling it your job to tell everbody what they should or shouldn't say?

I have news for you, if not for opinions that vary discussion forums would die and dry up.
Because if negative opinions weren't allowed, positive ones shouldn't be allowed either. Again, otherwise you're suggesting censorship. That's against the laws of this country.

so lets get more pics up!

This is a privately owned forum, not a publicly owned one, just like Traxxas, where they do practice lots of censorship from what I understand. That has nothing to do with laws of the country. They can shutdown anyone's opinion here if the mods or operators of the forum believe so.

With that said, however, attacking the dude's paint job and truck is kind of lame. This is a "show off" thread, meaning you show off something you are proud of having. In TBJ's case, his race truck, with all it's characteristics, is still valid. The paint job is different. Maybe instead of going on the attack, look at it from another perspective. I think he did that on purpose. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to paint. The way the paint looks to me, from the picture, is he wants it to look dirty or less shiny or whatever effect it is he went after. Or perhaps he cares more about the performance of the truck than the looks. You can express your opinion, but be ready to take the heat for it too, from those who don't agree with it, just like you'd expect them vice versa.

In the same sense that attacking another dude's opinion is kind of lame.

You can't tell me that someone that posts a poor paintjob is naive enough to think everybody's going to respond with, "Isn't that special."

Or is this T-Ball, or the Special Olympics, where everybody gets a trophy?

yea personally I see nothing wrong with his paint job.
For some reason when I took a pic of one of my bodies it came out spotted similarly like his looks but IRL the spots don't exist. Not sure if his has those spots when you see it with the naked eye.

Look at the following and see what I mean the body is actually purple. No clue why it came out with those spots on camera seeing its the only one I've had it happen with.

Here's my "fleet." The Slash originally as it was with a stock body painted pearl white/blue, and then now with a J Concepts body. I have widened it with the Proline suspension arms/links up front and rear, Powerstroke shocks up front, Trx Big Bores at the rear, and use rear wheels all around, which gives it that nice 1/2" of extra width. Makes a good difference with regard to rollovers now! Unfortunately, this pic doesn't show the new tires/wheels or proline kit. I really should take another picture (but now the body's scratched up hah).

Also my Summit, off roading last February (40 minutes of absolute fun!), and my brushless Emaxx with F-650 body I painted up, and has been through all sorts of abuse for about 2 years (Proline if I recall). The Castle motor is a 1528 1800 Kv, as you can see pretty crammed in the Summit there, but an absolute blast! 20-25 minutes on a pair of 2s 3700 Mah lipos, and great fun at 20-22 mph. Need to up the pinion size and batteries.
