Default Stock Slash 2wd, body rub

I'm sure this comes down to setup, but, on my new 2wd slash, I have tire rub on all four tires. Not constant, but under heavy acceleration the backs rub, under heavy turning the outside front rubs. Do I need to put the plastic spring stiffeners in to take some of the "slop" out of the suspension?

Btw- only one run on the thing. what an absolute blast to drive

Are you talking about the tire rubbing the underside of the body? If thats the case then its totally normal for how the stock suspension setup is. If you like it that way all you can really do is put tape in the fenders to prevent the wheels from rubbing off the paint. I do it to all my bodies. Also, even with stiffer springs it still happens so I just tape every body.

I just got a slash and have the same problem. After one run, i noticed the paint wearing so i taped up under the guards as well as the sides where the nerf bars rub and is all good now.

Car can sure take a bashing though.

i absolutely love it. took it to a dirt road around the corner from my house, it is real stable at high speeds on the dirt! Then I took it to the skatepark. Too cold for kids, there was frost on the ramps for crying out loud! Ithis truck loves to jump!!!! It seems to be in its natural habitat in the air!

Is there a way to change the suspension setup so it doesn't rub?

you can raise the body mounts a little to prevent rubbing. But in all honesty it doesn't really matter, I just let mine rub away! only takes off a little bit of paint.

Body's gonna be toast before too long anyway. Run it, and replace when needed
