You would be better off with either the 4600kv or the 5700kv motors. The 9000kv motor is mainly used for touring cars.

i'd about a billion miles an hour immediately followed by your motor tearing apart....9000Kv is way too much for an off road vehicle, and way to much for a blitz.

Who cares what those people think.

Push it as fast and hard as you can!! I wouldn't stop at 3s if I were you. I'd go 4s to prove everybody wrong

70mph on a blitz is going to take lots of modification and tuning in order to keep the body from flipping you over backwards.....why not get an on-road that is supposed to go that fast?

your money though...

All he needs to do is duct tape a piece of cardboard onto the front bumper going at a 72.5% angle to make it aerodynamic while at the same time keeping down force pressure applied so the front end doesn't lift up and flip it.

hahaha my blitz goes id say just over 30mph and if the wind gets it the right way at full speed it will lift up.

Now if it was 70 itd would flip and crash.

Now a 9000kv on 4s lipo would be fun to watch (at the salt lakes)

Road? Salt flats?

Go to a costruction site or plowed field to run it at 70 MPH.

a 9000kv mm and a 4s lipo would go wayyy over 70mph, you can get that out of a 4600kv with a 3s. and even a vxl with 3s

you would need severe upgrades to be able to handle a 9000kv in a SCT. wheelie bar, wider tires, better body, the list goes on. What's the point of this project though??? It will only be good for speed-runs!

This is a much more reasonable goal than the 9000Kv motor

My Slash was setup for speed runs. Even with a full body it was capable of 75mph, that was with 4s and a 2350 XL length motor though, not a hand grenade with the pin pulled overvolted Castle motor.

you cant get your speed from motor kv, in Trucks that weigh 5 lbs plus, you need low kv and high voltage.

I actually sheared one of them off at the joint. Bloody MIP. Went back to the steel yolks and drives and never had an issue.
