Default dual brushless clodbuster

i'm toying with the idea of running dual ez run 35amp 9t systems in my clod. (terminataor race chassis)
i think the fact that it's one motor per axel will allow me to run these, instead of the 60amp .5 motors.
i already have one set.

i'm trying to figure out in my head how to wire them up.

like how to splice the receiver plug, how to run dual batteries without over powering the servo and receiver.
can i run 2 of these off one batt? i think 2 would be better, 7.4 volts per motor. (ezruns don't like higher voltage).

so i'm looking for opinions on how to wire it.

remove the red wire on one of the ESC's connectors from the ESC goin to the RX.
I have a dual ESC setup I'm working with (still making the chassis), and tested it out with XL 2.5s (needed brushed)
I just popped mine out of the connector using a small screw driver so in case I change my mine ever I can fix it. just got to put some electrical tape around it so it doesn't short out.

true that would work if he broke one of the middle pins out, than there would be no need to remove the red wires from the RX plug on one of the ESC's

due to the holidays i prolly won't have the bl systems until january some time.

i can't wait though. this truck is unbeliveably stable, flies straight and loves to be beat on. it's gonna love dual bl!

Dual brushless with an MOA setup is an awesome way to do it. Eliminates the issues of running unsynchronised brushless systems on a single spur. Truck looks awesome, I'm sure it will be a beast.

i changed it up a bit, instead of 9t 35amp ezrun i'm going with 60amp 8.5t's.

i just ordered the first, i'll get the second in a few weeks when $$ allows.

it's gonna be sick!

Sweet, I bet that will be a fun truck. Whats required of the clod axles to handle brushless? Any upgrades?

nothing really. it's got full revolutions bearings from avid. i need an adjustable motor mount so i can go up a few teeth on the pinion.
i have inner axel stiffeners, thats about it for the axels. the full race trucks use stock axles, the alloy axels are for bling not durability.

this is a full race clod, i'm leaving the diff's open so it can turn. (i may mess around with integy's ball diff)
i'm also removing the steering stops and clearancing the knuckles for a tighter turning radius.

all the parts arrived and i built it the other night. it's really quick. acceleration is insane.
i have the terminator suspension super plush so it just squats and shoots rather then wheelie.

i did snap a few pics:
