I'm guessing your bandit is an XL-5? Your Stampede won't let you down ! Don't forget you can always do rain/mud/water driving with your Traxxas trucks, they're waterproof. Also, if you got the time, start a youtube channel on RC stuff. Youtube is actually really fun, getting to see people's reactions to your vids, and just having fun editing them, lol. Hope you have fun!

yeah, or another option is to buy the VXL brushless system for your Bandit. That thing would go like 75+ with a 3s lipo! Just to let you know, a brushless upgrade is a really good idea, because its alot more powerful, more efficient (more runtime), and the Titan 12t's burn out really easy! Just saying, but either way will be a blast!

I'm gonna assume you mean replace the Titan 12t after it buns out? Well, not that hard. Just take off the rear right wheel (1 screw), take off the clutch cover (2 screws), and then just unscrew the 2 screws that hold the motor in. It won't take you but 5 minutes I'm sure! All you need is a set of pliers and a phillips screw driver.

lol, i bet it would be fun but pathetic! also don't forget if you ever get in really wet conditions or mud with your car, take apart the transmission and clean it. i've heard of people getting mud in their tranny and blowing it because of debris in the gears. its not hard to do, just make sure you have an hour of time and a drill for a screw driver!

Do your self a favor and look at the thunder ac6 charger from hobbypartz.com that way when you do go lipo which you will eventually i think you will have a good all around charger that will charge just about anything and it is both ac and dc. It ia also on sale right now with free shipping. Just my 2 cents worth. Can't beet either truck. I have a nitro pede too and i have broken mine in to 2 pieces at about 35mph up hill into a contrete curb. ouch. 20 Bucks and some time and it was all one piece again. Look at my model and you will see it. Jim

If you are running in grass thats med hight go for the stampede. The only time that a rustler will do good in grass is right after it had been cut. I can tell you this from experince because I have a nitro sport, which is basically a rustler, except it breaks more and is genreally more crappy. Go with the pede for bashing.

Experience? They are two different r/cs, the pede is only taller. The rustler is very strong. My brothers xl-5 has been ran into walls and a pole at it's top speed ~30-35 mph. Nothing has ever been broken on it. Also, get brushless. You can run it on a 6 cell nimh to slow it. Titans burn very quickly. My brother has gone through 6 which is about $150. Go with the vxl you will not Regret it. Get the rustler or the pede they are both very durable. They both have their pros and cons. It's just what you want to drive on.

No the rustler is very durable, the nitro sport on the other hand isn't. The nitro sport is bacisally a down graded Rustler. If I try to run in med grass my sport's reat end will sink into the grass and I will get no traction, It will even stop with some speed built up. electricrc, have you thought about getting a 4x4 vxl pede?
