Krazy Chicken

ok, so i have the sidewinder sct system, and i got this so i didn't have to open my reciever box every time i wanted to plug it into the computer. my question is do you think it would be ok if i pluged the castle link chip thing into the end of the wire and use heat shrink tubing to keep it their. i feel like im going to loose the chip cause it is so small.

it might fall out you could make a small separate water proof box for it from office depot
