Default Hyper 10sc setup

What is a good hyper 10 sc setup? As in all 3 dif oil weights, shock oil weight and i will be getting a castle sct system to put it in. I will be running it on a indoor packed clay track.

Thanks in advance

Try the stock shock oil, and grease in the diffs to start. I'm still running mine pretty much as it came out of the box. All I've done is the steering mod for more travel, and I recently picked up a plastic spur(not installed yet). Its tough to tell you which way to go without having raced at your track. I would say start with the stock setup, and some good tires(whatever works well at your track, I've had really great luck with AKA Enduros) and make adjustments from there.

Diffs - run them stock as the manual says to make them

Shocks - run them stock as the manual says to make them

Tyres - run whatever works best for your track

And then go run it, soo how it runs and adjust it from there until you like the way it drives.

for the diffs you have a few options, you can run them open, locked or with oil.

The easiest way to experiment with locked diffs is with blutack.   Remove any oil so the diffs clean and them stuff it full with blutack, if you have any oil in there or theres not enough blutackit will mash up into a stick paste that is SUPER had to get it all out.

BUT if yu want a really sticky diff but still want diff action chuck some blutack in there with the oil.  Makes a sticky paste  =P

the setup in the link is a great place to start and if your buying new it is more of an almost ready to run than a kit just save the rims for better tires than the stock and get used to sliding around corners as its not a real tight turning truck especialy under power. also you might rethink the esc those are better for 2wd the novak hv or tekin sc setups are much better and more expensive of course
