Default 4c lipo???

hey
i was just wondering did anyone run their traxxas slash 4x4 on a 4c lipo with factory specs.

I think you mean 4S, that's more voltage than the ESC or motor is rated for,

sounds like a recipe for smoke... from the electronics, not the tires

the traxxas brushless esc in the slash is rated for 3s 11.1volts.

stick with 3s. its the max voltage the system can handle. if you put 4s on, you will void the warranty and traxxas will not replace due to owner abuse (which is what they would call it lol). 3s is plenty for the vxl tho. 4s would be completely uncontrollable.

You mean 4s right? 3s is i little too much for the VXL IMO, but you can use 3s. 4s is way too much power, and voltage for the VXL.

I've tried a 3S a couple of times in my Slash 4x4 when I had it.....crazy. But fun.
I ran mostly 2S lipo's tho as I wanted to stay on the safe side.
