Monster Truck questions (Esavage, Kyoshso VE's, Ground Pounder)
Hi all just had some thoughts / questions on a variety of trucks so I thought I would combine them into one post.
1) Was wondering if anyone had any experience with the FLM extended chassis for the eSavage? I was thinking about one and the possibillity of a tame brushless system, just wondered what all would be involved besides the chassis.
2) Kyosho Mad Force Krusier VE and DMT VE - Why is there virtually no info from owners about these trucks? Maybe my google-fu is weak but I can't find much. They both look very interesting.
3) Redcat Ground Pounder - I know, I know, Redcat sux and all that but I am all for giving a small guy a chance (like I did with my Traxxas Cat so many years ago). I really like the look of this truck and for around $200, not a bad price. Does anyone have anything on this model?
Thanks!

the ground pounder is actually a very nice truck, i got to check one out at a rc monster truck race i was in. the 'pounder did very well, better then i did with my $$$$$ race clod.
he did have an issue with the spur gear but it was nothing we couldn't fix on the spot.
the reason you're not seeing alot on the kyoshos is well because they are kyoshos and not many people have them. i have seen one of the mad force ve's and it's very nice.
they very well built and fun as hell to drive, but it's solid axle, which i love but you have to drive it differently compared to the big stadium trucks / truggy's like the savage/maxx's/revo's/dmt ve.
the pounder and mad force are solid axle mt's, aka "real mt's, where the others are like big buggies with truck bodies on them.

weak google-fu........LOL thats funny!
try youtube searches.
whenever i wanna find out more on a new model, i look on the tube. often someone has already done their own review, and then you get to see them in action.
on RCU, there is a review section as well. not all models are covered, but you can find out some good info on the models they do have.

It seems that it can be difficult to find unbiased reviews out there. No offense to rcu reviews but they all seem ( at least the ones I have read) to be pretty glowing.
I have never had a solid axle "real" monster truck so I guess that's why the Mad Force and Pounder look interesting. I have the impression that parts support could be an issue with both trucks but for different reasons.
Still hoping someone out there has input on the E Savage and FLM chassis.
