Default Tips on Slash 4x4 tires



Alright so I got some trenchers and I'm mounting them on renagades, well I completely messed up the first tire and is there anyone out there that knowss how to fix it? Just wanting to know if there is a way, just kinda making me mad:/

Uhh, you didn't say specifically how you messed up so how can we say how to fix it?

I'll take a shot in the dark and say maybe you messed up gluing and its stuck on wrong? If thats the case you can probably boil it off and try again.

Sorry about that, well the glue got all over the wall of the tire and the rim and it looks very bad:/

acetone should get it off.
Won't impact performance though.

Next time... get premounts. I've been racing almost 10 years... and I HATE gluing tires. I use premounts as often as I can.

glue wont hurt anything really, and might come off after some good bashing (at least it won't be shiny anymore) or (as said above) acetone will take it off.

Even tho it looks bad I usually leave an extra thin line of glue on one end of the truck anyways so when racing and cleaning/treating my tires I can tell at a glance which goes front/rear, left/right
