Can I run this motor with EZrun 60A ESC in my EFirestorm on 3S lipos? On and off road geared with a 17-19T pinion?

You can run the motor on that speed control for sure, the speed control should be able to handle it fine. As for gearing, its impossible for anyone who hasn't tried that combo to say.

Considering that, to the speed control, a 4600kv 4 pole motor spins twice as fast as a 4600 2 pole motor (effectively it's a 9400kv motor), it might survive on 2S, but ThunderbirdJunkie would figure it won't last long on 3S. The lower end speed controls typically can't cycle fast enough to support the new hot rod 4 pole motors. Something bigger, with bigger FETs (IE XErun 80a/120/150a, RX8, MMM) will handle it better, since the bigger equipment can dissipate more heat faster.

But, hell, it's a $35 speedo...give it a shot and let us know

Gearing sounds like it's in the ballpark as long as you run the big spur in the truck.

pick up a sidewinder v2 esc, i ran my sidewinder v2 on 3's with a 4800kv 4 pole it came stock in my firestorm and it came with a 18pinion which works but you have to keep a eye on motor temps if your running it hard.
